Joint Operation Leads to Arrest of Two Drug Traffickers in Port Blair

In a successful joint operation conducted by the Narcotic Cell and PS Central Crime Station, CID Unit, authorities achieved a significant breakthrough with the arrest of two individuals involved in illegal drug activities in Port Blair. The arrested individuals have been identified as 27-year-old Rohit Lall, a resident of Prothrapur near Shiv Temple, and 32-year-old Shankar Mohan, residing near Galaxy Hotel, Bhatubasti.

The operation yielded substantial quantities of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Law enforcement officers seized two cannabis plants, one measuring 5 feet 02 inches and the other 08 inches in length, totalling 76 grams in weight. Additionally, 30 grams of Ganja, one Hookah, one weighing machine, and one scissor were confiscated from the possession of the accused.

Both Rohit Lall and Shankar Mohan were arrested on charges related to the cultivation and distribution of illicit substances.

The arrested individuals will be presented before the court for further legal proceedings, while ongoing investigations seek to uncover the full extent of their involvement and potential connections in the drug trade.
