Kadamtala Police Solves Theft Case in Record 12 Hours

In a remarkable display of efficiency, the Kadamtala Police cracked a theft case within twelve hours of receiving the complaint. A resident of Broomvalley, Kadamtala reported the theft of gold ornaments from an almirah in his home on Wednesday, prompting swift action by local law enforcement.

Upon receiving the complaint, an FIR was immediately registered under relevant sections of the BNS-2023. A detailed investigation ensued, with officers inspecting the crime scene and gathering vital clues that pointed towards a suspect.

Led by Station House Officer (SHO) SI P.M. Krishna Kumar, a special team was formed, including ASI Budheshwar Halder and Head Constables Sailen Halder and Pradeep Das. The team launched a comprehensive search of potential hideouts to trace the accused.

Their efforts paid off when they apprehended Keshab Mistry, son of Kunja Mistry, a resident of Bhakta Road, Ward No. 10, Kadamtala, who had a prior criminal record involving theft. Upon interrogation, Mistry admitted to the crime and revealed the involvement of two other individuals, Ajit Tete and Milan Krishna Roy, both residents of Bakultala.

Thanks to the swift response of the Kadamtala Police, the stolen gold ornaments were recovered, and further investigation is ongoing to bring the accomplices to justice.

Nair, IPS, SDPO Rangat, and overall direction of Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District.
