Mr. Keshav Chandra, IAS has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Islands by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. Mr. Keshav Chandra is a 1995 batch AGMUT Cadre Officer. He was on Central Govt. Deputation earlier and was appointed as the Director of Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under Ministry of Corporate Affairs in August 2020. The cabinet approved the repatriation of Mr. Keshav Chandra to his cadre on the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs just today and he was then appointed as the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mr. Jitendra Narain has been transferred to Delhi. Mr. Jitendra Narain held the post of the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Islands after Mr. Chetan Sanghi was transferred to Delhi in March 2021.
