Mr. L Murugan, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Information & Broadcasting arrived at Port Blair today. The Minister is on a three-day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Soon after his arrival, the Minister proceeded to Rangat by Helicopter. He was accorded a warm welcome at Rangat by the Party Leaders as well as the District Administration.
The Minister has a packed schedule and he will be participating in several meetings with elected representatives and BJP party leaders at Rangat. The Minister will have lunch with Social Workers, Cooperatives and Business Community at Rangat. He will also visit Fish Landing Centre, Rangat Bay and interact with people.
The Minister is also scheduled to visit Kadamtala where he will address Labharti Sammelan and have dinner at Karyakarta’s House.
The Minister will also chair several meetings with party functionaries and elected representatives at Port Blair on the second day of his visit. He will also chair a review meeting with Govt. Officials.
A Press Conference has also been organised where the Minister will interact with the Media.
Mr. L Murugan will depart for New Delhi on 16th July 2022.
