In a significant stride towards curbing illegal activities, a pivotal tip-off received by the PS Rangat on November 30, 2033, unveiled a major illicit liquor production operation concealed deep within the dense jungle of Shyamkund, Bakultala. Responding swiftly to the intelligence, an adept team comprising PCs Ram Prasad, K Samir, Yashwant Rao, and Ct Subol Bepari was promptly assembled, under the guidance of Inspector R.K Mazumder, the SHO of PS Rangat, to tackle the situation.
The vigilant team wasted no time and swiftly executed a coordinated raid within the labyrinthine terrain of the Shyamkund forest. Their efforts led to the discovery and confiscation of a substantial quantity of equipment dedicated to illicit liquor production. Among the seized items were 08 tins containing an estimated 200 litres of Lehan, alongside an assortment of utensils and wood supplies essential for the clandestine manufacturing process. All confiscated materials were promptly destroyed, delivering a significant blow to the illicit liquor manufacturing network.
The entire operation was carried out under the vigilant supervision of Mr. Chandra Prakash Meena, DANIPS, SDPO Rangat, and oversaw by the astute direction of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District.
