Lifeguards Save Tourists from Drowning at Radha Nagar Beach in Swaraj Dweep

Life Guards posted at Radha Nagar beach saved two tourists from downing while they were swimming at Radha Nagar Beach in Swaraj Dweep today. Sources informed that the father and son duo from Mumbai got caught in the ocean current and were unable to keep themselves afloat.

The alert lifeguards rushed to their rescue with lifebuoys and managed to bring them to safety on time. The father and son both thanked the lifeguards for saving their lives.

Lifeguards Mr. Samar, Mr. Ravi, Mr. Amal, Mr. Subhankar, Mr. Dipankar, Mr. Srikant, Mr. Tapan and Mr. Gautham were praised by the other tourists for their prompt response which saved the lives of two people.

The lifeguards at Radha Nagar beach have been posted by the Tourism Department and they keep a strict vigil on the tourists entering the sea. Tourists are allowed to swim at Radha Nagar beach from 9 Am to 5 pm.

The world-famous beach is Blue Flag Certified and is very popular among tourists.
