The Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) training program for women under the SARTHINI initiative was formally inaugurated in Diglipur on 15th October 2025. The training program was launched by Mr. Dipankar Mistry, Pramukh of Diglipur Panchayat Samithi, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The inauguration was attended by Mr. P. R. Singaram, Pradhan of GP Subhashgram; the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Diglipur, Mr. Rajesh Kumar; Mr. Chandrashekar Rao, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Transport Department; Mr. Manoranjan Kesri, Chief Manager, SBI Diglipur; and Mr. C. Raj, Director, SBI RSETI.
On the inaugural day, 35 women registered for the 30-day training program aimed at empowering women with driving skills and enhancing their employability. Mr. C. Raj welcomed the gathering and highlighted the objective of conducting such training programs in Diglipur.
