Local Born Association & Mopla Association Submits Representation Requesting to Resolve Issues of DBRAIT Students

Mr. Rakesh Pal Gobind, President, Local Born Association, Port Blair and Mr. Abdul Siddique, Secretary, Mopla Association, Port Blair recently submitted a representation to Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, Govt. of India, Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chief Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Secretary (Education), Andaman and Nicobar Islands requesting them to solve the issues of the students of DBRAIT.

Mr. Rakesh Pal Gobind and Mr. Abdul Siddique also met the protesting students and provided a copy of their representation on the issue to the students. The representatives of the organisations asked the students of DBRIAT to not indulge themselves in anything contrary to the law.

They also requested convening a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of Pondicherry University as and when he visits Andaman and Nicobar Islands in presence of representatives of both the organisations and representatives of the students.

The joint representation submitted by the organisations lists the demands of the students of DBRAIT in detail.
