Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Vice-Chairman of the Islands Development Agency, met with India’s National Security Advisor, Mr. Ajit Doval, during his visit to the national capital.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of several mega projects in the strategic infrastructure sector in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Admiral Joshi briefed Mr. Doval on the near-completion status of these initiatives, many of which are poised to become operational shortly.
The discussions also included follow-up proposals for subsequent phases of development to further bolster the islands’ strategic and economic potential. These projects are part of broader efforts to enhance connectivity, security, and development in the region, which holds significant importance for the country.
