Leave Travel Concession has been extended for two years from 26th September 2022 to 25th September 2024 for Central Govt. Employees to visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands and a few other destinations. Mr. M Vinod, President, Andaman Association of Tour Operators has expressed gratitude to the Govt. of India for extending LTC for Andaman and Nicobar Islands till 25th September 2024.
Mr. M Vinod has earlier requested Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions to extend the LTC for Andaman and Nicobar Islands by personally meeting him and through letters.
Mr. M Vinod added that the Tourism Industry of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is currently facing its biggest challenge and the extension of LTC for Andaman and Nicobar Islands will help resuscitate the Tourism Industry.
Mr. M Vinod has also expressed gratitude to the officers of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration for proposing, pursuing and prioritising the extension of LTC for Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
