Major Reshuffle of IAS/IPS Officers Announced by Ministry of Home Affairs

The Ministry of Home Affairs has made a significant announcement regarding the transfer and posting of several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

In a notable development, six IAS officers currently serving in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been posted out of the islands. The outgoing officers include Mr. Binay Bushan (IAS:2009), who held important charges such as Chief Electoral Officer, Secretary of Tourism, Art and Culture, General Administration, and Protocol in the A & N Administration. Mr. Bushan has been transferred to Delhi. Similarly, Mr. G Sudhakar (IAS:2012), Secretary of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, and Mr. Pankaj Kumar (IAS:2012), Secretary of Power, Revenue, Information Technology, Railways, and DCO/DCR, have also been transferred to Delhi. Mr. Kishore Kshirsagar Lakshman (IAS:2016), Secretary to Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of Shipping, Port Management Board, Resident Commissioner New Delhi, and Chief Executive Officer of Port Blair Smart City, has also been posted to Delhi. Additionally, Mr. Yash Chaudhary (IAS:2017), Secretary of Education and Sports, and Mr. Hari Kallikat (IAS:2018), Deputy Commissioner of Nicobar District, have been transferred to Delhi and Chandigarh, respectively.

Simultaneously, four new officers are set to join the Andaman and Nicobar Administration. Mr. Kumar L (IAS:2012) is joining from Pondicherry, Ms. Jyoti Kumari (IAS:2018) from Goa, Ms. Nandini Maharaj (IAS:2019) from Delhi, and Mr. Kale Amit Marutirao from Delhi.

Mr. S.K Tewari, IPS (2009) has been transferred from A & N Islands to Delhi and Mr. Mohd. Irshad Haider, IPS has been transferred from Delhi to A & N Islands.
