Massive Seizure of Illegal IMFL: 103 Bottles Recovered in Successful Operation at Rangat

In a decisive operation that marks a significant victory against unlawful activities, law enforcement officials successfully seized a massive stockpile of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). Acting swiftly on credible information, a specialised team assembled to combat the illegal storage of IMFL at Prasanna Store, located in the vicinity of U.K. Nest Lodge, Rangat.

Led by Inspector R.K. Mazumder, the operation saw the collaboration of dedicated personnel including PCs Anil Yadav, Sital Das, Sonu Yadav, Sunita Das, Shabana Bibi, Asritha Kerketta, and Sujata Das. Under the astute supervision of Mr. Vishesh Dhatterwal, SDPO (Rangat), the team executed a targeted raid at the shop owned by Prasanna W/o Mr. G. Rajendran, a 50-year-old resident of Dashrathpur, Rangat.

The operation yielded remarkable results as the team uncovered a stash of 103 bottles of illicit IMFL that had been stored in violation of regulations. The accused, identified as Prasanna W/o Mr. G. Rajendran, was promptly taken into custody in accordance with excise regulations.

The entire operation was conducted under the direct supervision of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, SP (D) N&MA.
