The general public and all concerned have been informed that there are no separate rules or regulations in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands requiring medical practitioners to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to practice.

As per the clarification issued, any medical practitioner holding a valid registration from a State Medical Council or the National Medical Commission (NMC) is eligible to practice in the Union Territory.

No separate NOC from the Health Department of Andaman and Nicobar Administration is required for medical practitioners intending to practice in the Islands, provided they possess valid and recognized registration credentials.

The clarification aims to dispel any confusion regarding procedural requirements for medical practitioners seeking to offer their services in the Union Territory.
