As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Iconic Events Week celebration from 17th to 23rd January 2023, to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence & Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 126th Birth Anniversary, a mega cultural programme was held at the historic Netaji Stadium on 23rd January 2023. People both young and old thronged to the stadium to soak in the spirit of nationalism. The evening began with dance ballet on the life of Netaji choreographed by eminent Choreographer Ms. Tanusree Shankar. The performance delighted the gathering that had gathered in huge numbers. The dance ballet performed by the artists depicted Netaji’s life which filled the air with patriotism, drawing huge applause from the gathering.
The dance performance was followed by a mesmerising performance by renowned singer, Sukhwinder Singh with his live band. Crowds crooned and swayed to the beat of the band while Sukhwinder presented some heart-touching patriotic numbers.
Dance performances by School children and artists from the mainland on patriotic themes also entertained the audience.
Before the cultural programme, Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team enthralled the gathering with a jaw-dropping finale performance as they bedazzled the onlookers with their awesome flying skills and courage.
