Migrant Labours Without Ration Card Asked to Approach Directorate of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs

All the migrant labourers residing in A & N Islands and registered on e-Shram portal of the Govt. of India, who do not possess ration card, neither in their native State/UTs nor in the UT of Andaman & Nicobar Islands have been asked to approach the Directorate of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Port Blair with valid documents such as Surrender/Deletion Certificate from parent State/UT.

However, since One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) has been implemented in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, migrant labourers possessing NFSA ration card (AAY & PHH) in their respective State/UTs are free to obtain their entitlement of food grains from any of the Fair Price Shop of this UT without transferring their ration card to this UT from their native State/UTs.
