In compliance with the provisions of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing, and Artillery Practice Act, 1938, the defence forces have announced a series of scheduled firing practices by military aircraft during the month of May 2025. The public is advised to take necessary precautions and avoid the firing range area during the specified times.
The firing practices will take place on the following dates:
– 07/05/2025, 14/05/2025, 21/05/2025, 28/05/2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
– 08/05/2025, 13/05/2025, 20/05/2025, 27/05/2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Authorities have issued a warning for individuals, vehicles, and livestock to stay clear of the designated firing range during these times to ensure safety.
