A Mini Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) Camp will be organized under the RCH programme by the Union Territory Health Mission (UTHM) in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services, A&N Administration, and ANIIMS. The camp will be held on February 8, 2025, from 10:00 am onwards at Rutland—a remote island located south of Sri Vijaya Puram in the South Andaman district.
Rutland, known for its difficult accessibility and sparse population, rarely sees access to specialist medical care. In a significant outreach effort, specialist doctors, including a Gynecologist, Pediatrician, Orthopedic Surgeon, Dermatologist, Ophthalmologist, and Dental Surgeon, will be present at the camp to offer their services.
