Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, met Bharatiya Janata Party National Working President Mr. Nitin Nabin in New Delhi recently, along with Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Chairperson of the Zilla Parishad South Andaman.
The meeting was described as a courtesy call in which Mr. Ray and Mr. Adhikari congratulated Mr. Nabin on taking over as the National Working President. They also extended their support to his efforts to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Mr. Nabin, a five-time MLA from Bihar and former minister in the state government, was recently elevated as the party’s National Working President. His administrative and organisational experience is viewed within the party as an asset ahead of future electoral and organisational exercises.
Discussions during the meeting reportedly touched upon coordination between different levels of leadership, strengthening the organisation in the field, and sustaining the BJP’s emphasis on public-oriented governance.
