Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 5th December 2022, called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency.
The dignitaries discussed expediting the execution of mega infrastructure projects worth ₹ 75,000/- Crores in A&N Islands, including the International Container Transhipment Terminal and new Green Field Airport, consequent to the final clearance accorded by the Government of India.
The identification of additional projects for the follow-up phase was also discussed.
The Mega Great Nicobar Island Project is a very important project for India. Govt. of India is seriously pushing the project forward. The Great Nicobar Project will create lakhs of jobs for the country and will help India in achieving the target of becoming a $5 Trillion Economy.
The project is also important for National Security and has the potential to turn the tide of the geopolitics of the Indian Ocean Region completely in favour of India.
It’s earn so much money but on the basis of destroying many animals home .Our greed never satisfied .I learn they plant trees some other area but can you make same biodiversity for those endemic animal .who are living in this area for years .
I just want to say that if we destroy nature then will destroy us .
We have best example was Tsunami.
