A two-day National-Level Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet & Expo will be held on February 23 and 24, 2026, at Megapode Resort, Haddo, Sri Vijaya Puram, providing a major platform for local producers to connect directly with national buyers.

The event is being organised by the Department of Agriculture, Industries and Fisheries of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration in association with the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Kolkata. It is supported by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Coconut Development Board, National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), and RAMP.

The two-day meet aims to offer progressive farmers, agri-horti entrepreneurs, fishermen, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), and startups from the Islands an opportunity to showcase their products directly to national-level buyers under one roof.

By facilitating structured buyer–seller interactions, the Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet & Expo 2026 seeks to expand market access for local producers, enhance product visibility, strengthen brand presence, and promote new business partnerships beyond regional markets. Organisers said active participation across both days is expected to make the event dynamic and result-oriented, highlighting the Islands’ vast potential in agriculture, fisheries, and allied sectors.

In addition to B2B meetings, a dedicated product exhibition will be organised to display the diverse and unique offerings of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The exhibition will feature coconut and value-added coconut products, spices such as true cinnamon, nutmeg, bay leaf, and black pepper, marine and fishery-based products, tropical cut flowers, multifloral honey, and other value-added items.

The National-Level Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet & Expo 2026 is expected to serve as a landmark initiative in promoting the Islands’ products on a national platform and creating sustainable economic opportunities for local producers through direct buyer linkages.
