A free health camp was successfully organized at ShorePoint by the National Medicos Organization (NMO) and Hindu Seva Sangh (HSS) in collaboration with the Gram Panchayat, Shore Point. The initiative provided essential medical consultations and treatment to over 100 patients, reinforcing the commitment of these organizations to public health and community welfare.
A team of esteemed doctors led the medical services at the camp, including Dr. Ajay Raj (Dean, ANIIMS), Dr. Shrikant (Cardiologist), Dr. Sadheesh, Dr. Kushal Baidya, and Dr. Ashok Pal Gobind. Their expertise and dedication ensured that patients received quality healthcare services.
The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests, including Mr. Abhay Kumar (President, Hindu Seva Sangh), Mr. Uday Kumar (Ex-Chairperson, SVPMC), Mrs. Rasheeda Bibi (Pradhan, Hope Town), Mr. Hemant Rao (Ex-Pradhan, Shore Point), Ms. Nagalaxmi, and Mr. Rakeshwer Lall (President, HRS). Their participation emphasized the collective effort to enhance healthcare accessibility in rural areas.
The smooth execution of the camp was made possible through the dedicated efforts of key coordinators from Hindu Seva Sangh, including Mr. Santosh Kumar, Mr. Venkatesan, Mr. Pandy Raj, Mr. Sukhsagar Pandey, and Mr. Gopi. Their meticulous planning and coordination ensured the event’s success.
As a gesture of appreciation, Hindu Seva Sangh (HSS) honored the participating doctors with mementos in recognition of their invaluable service to the community.
This initiative marks a significant step toward improving healthcare access in rural areas of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The organizers have announced plans to conduct similar health camps in other parts of the islands in the coming days, furthering their mission to promote public health and well-being.
