As part of the ongoing Special National Integration Camp (SNIC), NCC cadets undertook an educational and exposure visit to Chidyatapu Biological Park Beach under the leadership of Group Commander and Camp Commandant Col Hariteja.

During the visit, the cadets interacted with Brigadier G.P. Singh, Army Component Commander, in the presence of Commanding Officer, NCC Army Unit, Col K.Y. Singh. Addressing the cadets, the Brigadier highlighted the role, responsibilities, and operational preparedness of the Indian Army, with special emphasis on its strategic role in the island territories.

A key highlight of the visit was a live display of the Infantry Combat Vehicle (BMP). Army personnel briefed the cadets on the vehicle’s operational capabilities, technical features, and its critical role on the battlefield. The cadets were also given an opportunity to experience a BMP ride, providing them with a firsthand understanding of armoured vehicle operations.

The visit proved to be an enriching experience, enhancing the cadets’ awareness of military life, defence preparedness, and the vital role played by the Indian Army in safeguarding the nation.
