A new ambulance was inaugurated and inducted into service at Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder by Ms. Sushant Padha, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of North & Middle Andaman, in the presence of Mr. S. Krishna Chaitanya, Additional District Magistrate, NMA, along with PRI members, hospital officials and staff.
The newly inducted ambulance is expected to strengthen emergency medical response and improve patient transportation services in the region.
Addressing those present, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of augmenting healthcare infrastructure to ensure timely medical assistance for residents, particularly those living in remote areas of the district.
PRI representatives, hospital officials and staff members attended the programme and appreciated the initiative, reiterating their commitment to improving healthcare services in the district.
Officials said the induction of the ambulance will enhance emergency medical services and help ensure better and more accessible healthcare facilities for the local community.
