The Electricity Department has informed all electricity consumers and the general public that its New Electric Connection (NEC) Portal has been migrated to a new domain. The portal, which facilitates applications for new electricity connections and access to related online services, will now be available at nec.andamannicobar.gov.in.
According to the department, consumers and other stakeholders are advised to take note of the change and ensure that they use the updated domain while accessing the NEC Portal for any services. The earlier web address, https://andssw1.and.nic.in:8081/EMCOSP/, may no longer remain active or supported.
The NEC Portal is an important online platform of the Electricity Department, enabling citizens to apply for new power connections and avail other electricity-related services in a convenient and transparent manner. Users have been urged to update their bookmarks and avoid using outdated links to prevent any inconvenience.
