A new Managing Committee has been elected for Gurudwara Dr. Diwan Singh, Sri Vijaya Puram, following the successful conduct of a democratic election by the Sikh Sadh Sangat.
The election was reportedly held in a peaceful and transparent manner, reflecting the collective will of the congregation. Mr. S.S. Saluja has been elected as President, while Mr. Swinder Raj Singh will serve as the General Secretary. Mr. B.S. Grewal and Mr. Ranjit Singh have been chosen as Vice Presidents. The responsibilities of Treasurer will be jointly handled by Mrs. Neena Wadhwa and Mr. Gurmeet Singh, and Mrs. Narinder Kaur has been elected as Joint Secretary. Mrs. Manjit Kaur, along with other respected members of the community, has been elected as Executive Member.
The newly constituted committee has reaffirmed its commitment to uphold the core principles of Seva, transparency, and collective welfare. Members of the committee stated that they would work in close coordination with the Sadh Sangat to ensure the smooth functioning, effective management, and overall development of the Gurudwara.
Seeking the blessings and continued cooperation of the Sikh community, the Managing Committee assured that all religious, social, and administrative affairs of Gurudwara Dr. Diwan Singh would be carried out in a fair, inclusive, and democratic manner, in keeping with Sikh values and traditions.
