The purpose is to make a positive impact on their livelihood by improving the income levels and quality of life of the rural households in the District. The District Administration has been organizing Camps/Public Awareness, Door to Door Awareness Campaign & Survey by CRPs. Identification and formation of SHGs amongst the students/ ex-students of Industries Dept. and other students trained in other sectors have come up in Car Nicobar and are doing very well by making Nicobari Yoga Mats, Virgin Coconut Oil, Pickles and other such products.
