In commemoration of Police Raising Week 2024, the diligent personnel from the police force, in collaboration with the Fire & Emergency Services staff of Nicobar District, organized a comprehensive fire safety session at the Government Primary School in Rajeev Nagar, Campbell Bay.
The initiative, held on January 17, aimed to heighten awareness about preventive measures and effective firefighting methods, with the overarching goal of ensuring the safety of individuals in the event of fire incidents. The educational session saw active participation from both police and fire service personnel, engaging with students and community members to disseminate crucial information on fire safety protocols.
Additionally, as part of the Police Raising Week activities, fisherman watch group meetings were convened at Car Nicobar. The purpose of these gatherings was to establish a collaborative network that enables the swift exchange of information and assistance in identifying any suspicious activities in and around the sea. This initiative underscores the commitment of law enforcement to maintaining maritime security and safeguarding coastal communities.
Simultaneously, a dynamic motorcycle rally focused on Road Safety awareness was conducted at Car-Nicobar. The rally, which attracted the attention of local residents and commuters alike, aimed to promote safe driving practices and emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic rules.
