Nisha Rani Murder Case: Suspects Absconding, Viral Social Media Posts With Suspect’s Photographs and CCTV Video Urge Public to Inform Police

In the ongoing investigation into the Nisha Rani murder case, photographs of four suspects identified by the police have gone viral, with social media posts urging the public to assist in their capture. According to information received from sources late night on 22nd December 2024, the suspects were still absconding. These viral posts urge citizens to immediately inform law enforcement if the suspects are spotted. Nisha Rani, a resident of Brichgunj, was tragically murdered on 21st December 2024 at Brichgunj area of Sri Vijaya Puram, sparking widespread concern across the community.

Sources reveal that the suspects are not locals, but are believed to have traveled to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from mainland India. It has been confirmed that the four individuals checked into a hotel in Dairy Farm a day before the murder, but have not been seen near the hotel since the incident.

One widely circulated message accompanying the suspects’ photographs states:

“WANTED ALERT A&N Police seeks information on four suspects involved in a murder case registered at PS Pahargaon on 21/12/2024. Suspects’ Details: Age Group: 25–30 years; Native State: Tamil Nadu; Language: Primarily Tamil. If you have any information regarding these individuals, please contact us immediately at: 9531888000, 9531801107.”

Additionally, a CCTV video showing the suspects entering Hotel Shalini in Dairy Farm has also been widely shared. The accompanying message reads: “In this video, you can see the four accused in the PS Pahargaon murder case who stayed at Hotel Shalini, Dairy Farm. Their faces are clearly visible. Citizens are advised to remain vigilant and share any information with the police. Do not attempt to apprehend or confront them alone, as they are considered dangerous. For assistance, contact 03192-250525/112/100. Stay safe.”

The origin of these messages remains unclear, but the contact numbers listed are confirmed to belong to police officers, the Pahargaon Police Station, and emergency helplines. Citizens should assist law enforcement by providing any information that could help in tracking the suspects.

Citizens are urged to stay alert and immediately report any relevant information to the police.
