The Veer Savarkar International (VSI) Airport has announced the complete restoration of normal operations following a short period of disruption earlier this week. Airport authorities confirmed that all facilities — including passenger services, airline operations and ground transportation — are functioning normally.

The disruption occurred on December 7, 2025, when seven IndiGo flights were cancelled, causing significant inconvenience to passengers. Operations gradually stabilised thereafter, with only a single IndiGo cancellation reported later in the day. By December 8, 2025, airport activities had fully returned to normal.

Airport Director Muneer Madampat said, “Our teams acted quickly and efficiently to address the situation. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our passengers, staff and partners. Safety and service continuity remain our highest priorities.”

All scheduled arrivals and departures are currently operating on time. Passengers have been advised to check with their respective airlines for updated flight information and to follow standard travel-time guidelines while arriving at the airport.

VSI Airport has expressed gratitude to the travelling public for their understanding and continued support. (Story Based on PR)
