The Andaman and Nicobar Police organised a week-long programme to celebrate Police Raising Day from 16th to 22nd of January 2023. Various programmes were also organized by the Police Stations of North & Middle Andaman District to celebrate Police Raising Day.
As part of the celebration, cleanliness drives were organized at all Police Stations of North and Middle Andaman District. To facilitate senior citizens, all Police Stations of the district organized door-to-door basic medical checkups with the help of health workers.
Essay and Drawing competitions were organised at schools and Nukkad Nataks were also presented on the topic of POCSO, Cyber Crime, Drug Abuse and Domestic Violence for the awareness of the school students.
During the occasion fruit bearing saplings were planted by all Police Stations. Various awareness programmes/bike rallies were also organized by various Police Stations. Banners were displayed on bikes during bike rallies to sensitize the local youths about Drug Abuse, Traffic rules and regulations, ATM Fraud, Cybercrime etc.
