Nehru Yuva Kendra, Car Nicobar organised a Block Level Cycle Rally on World Bicycle Day (3rd June 2022). The cycle rally which was flagged off from CWC Ground culminated at Priyadarshani Hall, Tamaloo.
A large number of cyclists participated in the rally.
Mr. Anand Vardhan Mishra, Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Car Nicobar was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Mishra also participated in the cycle rally along with other participants.
In his address, the Chief Guest emphasised on daily use of bicycles for physical fitness.
Mr. K Paul, 1st Captain, Perka Village, Mr. Ahmed Ali, General Secretary, Nicobar Athletic Association, Mr. Mangal Bhagat, Yoga Instructor, BJR Hospital were also present during the occasion.
The programme was also a part of the celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
