Oath Taking Ceremony by Probationer Sub-Inspectors of Police Motor Transport at PTS Prothrapur

The Police Training School in Prothrapur bore witness to a significant event today, as Probationer Sub-Inspectors of the Police Motor Transport (PMT) division of the Andaman & Nicobar Police took their oath in a solemn ceremony, marking the culmination of their arduous training and steadfast commitment.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, who served as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were Ms. Sindhu Pillai. A, IPS, Inspector General of Police; Ms. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (Training), along with other senior officers of the A & N Police and the proud families of the trainees.

In an inspiring address, Mr. Devesh Chandra Srivastva urged the Probationer Sub-Inspectors of PMT to pursue excellence as they embark on their journey to become dedicated and sincere police personnel, contributing to the professional and dedicated ethos of the A&N Police.

Administering the oath was Principal Mr. Manjeet Sheoran, IPS, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries. Among the six Probationer Sub-Inspectors of PMT, PSI Dishant Prasad (PMT) stood out, securing the All Round Best Position. He was honoured with a Commendation Certificate, Trophy, and Cash Prize presented by the Chief Guest, Mr. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

This ceremony signifies the commencement of a new chapter for these dedicated Sub-Inspectors of PMT, poised to serve the community with the utmost professionalism and integrity.
