Outreach Health Camp Held at GPS Borang Under AAM Mohanpur

An Outreach Health Camp was successfully conducted at the Government Primary School (GPS), Borang, under AAM Mohanpur on February 6, under the supervision of Dr. Alice Bwa, Medical Officer, Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder.

As part of the camp, a health awareness session was conducted by Mr. Pratap Dhali, APC, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), during which students, school staff and beneficiaries were briefed on the creation of ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) cards. The session highlighted the importance of ABHA in facilitating access to digital health services and maintaining lifelong digital health records.

The camp included comprehensive health screening of all students, medical examination of patients suffering from various ailments, and distribution of medicines to beneficiaries. The medical services were provided by Dr. Thirunani Prudhvi, Paediatrician, with the support of Mr. Pratap Dhali, APC/ABDM, Mr. Sampson Pee, Male Health Worker (MHW), and Ms. S. Punnawati, Community Health Officer (CHO).

The outreach initiative aimed at promoting preventive healthcare, improving access to medical services, and enhancing awareness about digital health initiatives among the local population.
