In a recent political development, more than 70 young individuals from the Aberdeen Bazaar area have joined the Youth Congress in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The induction event was organized under the leadership of Ms. Diksha Dular, State President of the Pradesh Youth Congress, and Mr. M.A. Sajid, State Vice-President.
The event was held in the presence of senior Congress leaders, including Mr. Rangalal Halder, President of the Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), and Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of the ANTCC Campaign Committee. According to party representatives, the new members expressed support for the Congress party’s ideology and stated their intention to work for the development of the community.
Senior leaders Ms. Ratna Kannan, Ms. Pushpanjali Raju, Ms. Malati Mandal, Mr. K. Ganeshan (Chief Spokesperson, ANTCC), Ms. Zubaida Begum (President, Mahila Congress), Mr. K.P. Usman (President, INTUC Federation), Mr. AUT Umer (Zilla Parishad Member), Mr. Saji Varghese (Chairman, Minority Department), and Mr. Mohd. Zubair (President, City Congress) also attended the program.
The Youth Congress termed the mass joining as a positive indication of growing engagement from the younger generation in the political landscape of the Union Territory.
