Painting Workshop-cum-Competition Held Under Seva Parv 2025 in Sri Vijaya Puram

As part of the nationwide celebration of Seva Parv 2025, initiated by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Directorate of Art & Culture, A&N Administration, in collaboration with the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), organized a Painting Workshop-cum-Competition at the auditorium of Girls’ Senior Secondary School, Sri Vijaya Puram, on 26th September 2025.

The competition was held on the theme “Viksit Bharat Ke Rang; Kala Ke Sang”. Despite heavy rain in the morning, a total of 162 students from government and private schools and colleges participated enthusiastically.

Ms. Jyoti Kumari, IAS, Secretary (Art & Culture), graced the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest. In her address, she encouraged the young participants to express their creativity and imagination through art.

Attractive cash prizes have been announced for winners in both school and college categories. In the college students’ category, the first three prizes will carry cash awards of ₹25,000, ₹15,000, and ₹10,000 respectively. For school students, the top three prizes are ₹10,000, ₹5,000, and ₹2,500, along with three consolation prizes of ₹1,000 each.

The results of the competition will be declared on September 30, 2025, and the prize distribution ceremony will take place on October 4, 2025. (Story Based on PR)
