Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR), in collaboration with MGM Healthcare, Chennai, successfully conducted its 7th Super Specialist Health Camp at GB Pant Hospital on June 21, 2025, offering advanced medical consultations and diagnostic services to residents of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The initiative brought together a team of renowned super-specialist doctors from MGM Healthcare, including oncology experts, to provide free consultations and assessments. The camp benefited over 25 patients from various parts of the islands, offering them expert medical opinions, diagnostic evaluations, and recommendations for further treatment.
On-site diagnostic services were also made available, enhancing the accessibility and effectiveness of the camp for those in need of specialised care.
Speaking at the event, Mandeep Grewal, Founder and President of PBGKR, emphasized the organization’s commitment to equitable healthcare access:
“Our mission is to bring quality healthcare within reach of every Indian, especially in remote regions like the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This camp is a testament to the power of collaboration between public welfare organisations and reputed medical institutions like MGM Healthcare.”
Dr. Syed Ismail, Senior Oncology Specialist at MGM Healthcare, who led the visiting team, said,
“We are honoured to be part of this initiative and to extend our expertise to communities with limited access to advanced healthcare. Our focus was not only on treatment but also on promoting awareness and preventive care.”
