The Annual Athletic Meet of PM SHRI Govt. Senior Secondary School, Swadesh Nagar, North & Middle Andaman, was held on January 31, 2025, with great enthusiasm and participation from students.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Damodaran, Senior Scientist at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Nimbudera, who declared the meet open. The ceremonial torch was lit by the chief guest, marking the beginning of the competitions. Earlier, in his welcome address, Vice-Principal Mr. Saleem Kerketta highlighted key academic and extracurricular achievements of the institution.
The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Deborata Das, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Swadesh Nagar, who distributed prizes to the winners. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the significance of sports and physical activities in students’ overall development.
The event concluded with a vibrant cultural program, featuring theme-based drills and aerobics performances by students, adding a colorful touch to the occasion.
