The Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, is set to host a three-day ‘PM Vishwakarma Exhibition-cum-Trade Fair’ from January 15 to January 17, 2025. The event will take place at the ITF Ground, Sri Vijaya Puram, in collaboration with the Union Territory Administration of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The fair aims to recognize and support traditional artisans and craftspeople from 18 trades who work with their hands and tools under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. It will feature 50-60 stalls showcasing the products of PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries. Additionally, MSMEs, startups, government departments, financial institutions, and other stakeholders will present their products, services, schemes, and initiatives.
A series of technical sessions are also planned to benefit prospective and existing entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and startups. These sessions will cover topics such as financial assistance schemes, marketing support, technology upgradation, the Public Procurement Policy 2012, e-commerce platforms, barcode registration, intellectual property rights, import-export policies and procedures, and the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal.
