The PM Vishwakarma Trade Fair, organised by the Branch MSME–DFO, Dollygunj Industrial Estate, under the Ministry of MSME, concluded successfully at the ITF Ground, Sri Vijaya Puram, witnessing an impressive public turnout and enthusiastic participation.
The final day of the trade fair drew a large number of visitors, reflecting sustained public interest in traditional products and indigenous craftsmanship promoted under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. The fair served as a vibrant platform for showcasing the skills and creativity of local artisans and micro-entrepreneurs.
The concluding day was marked by a series of cultural programmes, including lively singing and dance performances, which added colour and vibrancy to the event and enhanced the overall experience for visitors. A total of 90 stalls were set up at the fair, displaying a wide range of locally manufactured products.
Stall holders expressed satisfaction over their participation, stating that the trade fair provided them with valuable market exposure, an opportunity to interact directly with customers, and encouraging sales during the event.
During the programme, Mr. G. K. Sinha, Assistant Director (In-charge), briefed participants and visitors about various schemes of the Ministry of MSME and informed them about upcoming departmental initiatives aimed at supporting artisans and small entrepreneurs.
Overall, the PM Vishwakarma Trade Fair emerged as a successful initiative in empowering artisans and micro-entrepreneurs, while also promoting traditional skills and local craftsmanship in the islands.
