Kadamtala Police Conducts Intensive Jungle Search to Rescue Missing Local Resident

Kadamtala Police successfully rescued Keshav Mistry, a local man, after an intensive search operation in the jungle. 

On July 6, 2024, Mr. Kunja Mistry, a resident of Bhakta Road, Kadamtala, reported his son missing at the Kadamtala Police Station. According to the report, Keshav Mistry went fishing with his friends, James Xaxa and Kuldeep Hemron, at Jungle Nallah on July 3, 2024. While his friends returned on the evening of July 4, Keshav did not. Despite Mr. Mistry’s exhaustive efforts to locate his son, he remained missing.

Upon receiving the complaint, the police promptly registered a missing report and issued an alert. A dedicated police team from the Kadamtala Police Station, under the supervision of SI P.M Krishna Kumar, immediately initiated a search operation. They enlisted assistance from the Forest Department and AAJVS.

The relentless search efforts paid off when the team successfully located Keshav Mistry from the jungle near the Bhakta Road area. He was found dehydrated with a minor foot injury. The rescue team provided first aid before reuniting him with his father.

The combined efforts of the Kadamtala Police and other supporting departments ensured the safe return of Keshav Mistry, bringing relief to his family and the community.
