In a significant step towards enhancing emergency response capabilities, the Police Control Room (PCR) Unit successfully conducted a specialised training program on life-saving techniques for personnel deputed in PCR and Parakram vehicles. The initiative aims to equip police officers with critical medical skills to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.

Certified medical professionals and emergency response experts led the training, focusing on essential life-saving techniques such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), bleeding control, handling unconscious victims, and responding to choking incidents. The session combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, ensuring that personnel could apply these skills effectively in real-world scenarios.

The program underscores the department’s commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to public service. By integrating emergency medical training into law enforcement duties, the initiative enhances the overall efficiency of emergency response in the region.
