In a touching display of solidarity and compassion, the officers and staff at Police Station Rangat rallied together in a remarkable fundraising campaign aimed at supporting an aggrieved family who recently lost their home and their beloved son, Akash Mondal, in a tragic incident involving a tree fall on September 13, 2023.
The campaign garnered an overwhelming response from the dedicated police personnel, with many coming forward to contribute to this noble cause. Through their collective efforts, Police Station Rangat successfully raised substantial funds to ease the financial burden borne by Mr. Swapan Mondal, a resident of Sitapur, Rangat, who earns his living as a labourer.
Swapan Mondal and his family, who reside in Sitapur Rangat, were left devastated by the loss of their only son, Akash, and the destruction of their home. The tragic incident has cast a shadow of grief and financial hardship over the family, who were already grappling with the challenges of making ends meet.
The generous gesture from Police Station Rangat not only provides immediate relief to Mr. Swapan Mondal and his family but also underscores the strong bond between the police department and the community it serves.
