To mark the celebrations of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Police Training School, Prothrapur organised a Quiz Competition on the theme of Freedom Fighters and History of Indian Independence for school students of classes IX to XII on 22/11/2021.
Altogether, 24 students from 12 different schools participated in the quiz competition. The competition comprised of four rounds namely (1) qualifying round, (2) rapid-fire round, (3) visual round & (4) buzzer round.
The quiz competition was informative for the participants as well as the audience. The students participated enthusiastically in the event and displayed the immense depth of their knowledge about the Freedom Fighters and the History of Indian Independence.
G. Manisha and E. Sarnya students of Class XII of Kamraj English Medium School emerged as Winners, whereas Shraddha Chander of Class XI and Dhruva Kumar of Class IX of Carmel Sr. Sec. School were adjudged, runners-up. Sai Joshna Naidu of Class X and Sai Meghna Naidu of Class XII of Govt. Girls. Sr. Sec School won the 3rd prize. Consolation prizes with certificates were also awarded to all the participants. During the competition, all precautions related to COVID-19 were followed.
