The university’s remarkable performance is attributed to its consistent growth across various performance parameters.
In the recently released Outlook-ICARE India 2023 Rankings, Pondicherry University clinched the 4th spot among Central Universities in India, boasting an impressive overall score of 889.62 out of 1000 points. The Outlook-ICARE ranking framework evaluates academic institutions based on five critical parameters: Academic Research Excellence, Industry Interface and Placement, Infrastructure and Facilities, Governance and Extension, and Diversity and Outreach.
The university excelled in each of these categories, accumulating scores as follows: Academic & Research Excellence-378.54 out of 400, Industry Interface & Placement-173.87 out of 200, Infrastructure & Facilities-136.3 out of 150, Governance & Extension-127.45 out of 150, and Diversity & Outreach-73.46 out of 100.
Pondicherry University’s journey through the Outlook-ICARE India Rankings has been characterized by remarkable progress in these five parameters over the years. Notably, the university’s overall score has shown steady advancement, rising from 887.46 in the previous year to an impressive 889.62 in the current year’s rankings, signifying its commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
