Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR) successfully completed a One-Day Dermatology Camp on 8th January 2025 at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Swaraj Dweep (Havelock), offering essential dermatological care to 35 patients from the local community. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), aimed to address the growing need for accessible healthcare in remote areas.
The camp, led by Dr. Arisha Salam, provided comprehensive skin check-ups, consultations, and treatments, ensuring patients received personalised care and appropriate medical guidance. The event witnessed a positive response from the community, emphasising the critical role of such healthcare services in island areas.
Dr. Arisha Salam, along with a dedicated team from DHS and PBGKR, worked diligently to ensure the camp’s success.
Mr. Mandeep Grewal, Founder and President of PBGKR, expressed his satisfaction, stating, “The camp has not only improved the health and well-being of the patients but also raised awareness about dermatological issues and the significance of timely medical intervention.”
He further extended gratitude to DHS and Dr. Arisha Salam for their invaluable support and dedication. PBGKR remains committed to organising similar health camps in the future, continuing its mission to serve and uplift the community.
