Port Blair Smart City Projects Ltd. has announced the commencement of a comprehensive GIS mapping survey across the city. This initiative aims to map all households, commercial entities, and other establishments, including assets developed by various departments. The survey is a crucial component of the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) project and will be carried out by team leaders from Allvy Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Citizens are urged to extend their cooperation to the survey team by providing necessary documents, such as property tax records, water charge receipts, and electricity bills containing land details. These documents are essential for the accurate compilation of data and will facilitate the generation of a Unique ID Number accompanied by a QR code for every household.

The implementation of this initiative is expected to streamline administrative processes and enhance service delivery to citizens. The Unique ID Number system will serve as a centralized database, enabling authorities to provide solutions through a single-window interface to households.

By actively participating in the survey and providing the requested documents, residents can contribute to the success of the project, fostering a more efficient and responsive urban infrastructure.
