The programme opened in the presence of eminent dignitaries from the judiciary and academia and aimed to familiarise trainee teachers with the fundamentals of human rights, constitutional safeguards, and the critical importance of legal literacy in fostering an informed and equitable society.

The event was addressed by Mr. Rashid Alam, Member Secretary, A&N State Legal Services Authority; Mr. Neyaz Alam, Ld. Additional District & Sessions Judge, Port Blair; and Mr. Samrat Roy, Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, A&N Islands. The PRAYAS (JAC) delegation was led by Ms. Marya Sheela, Regional Head, and Mr. K. Vijay Kumar, Advisor. The team worked in close coordination with the Principal and faculty of TGCE to facilitate an engaging and interactive session that encouraged dialogue between legal experts and trainee teachers.
