Sudha Sundararaman, a distinguished member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) or CPI (M) and National Vice President of the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA), arrived in Port Blair on September 23, 2023, for a two-day visit to the picturesque Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
During her stay in the islands, Sudha Sundararaman will have the honour of inaugurating the State-level General Body Meeting of the All India Democratic Women’s Association. The inauguration is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. on September 24, 2023, at Shaheed Bhavan, Anarkali, Port Blair. This significant event is expected to bring together leaders, activists, and members of AIDWA from across the state to deliberate on crucial women’s issues and initiatives.
Following her engagement and participation in the AIDWA event, Sudha Sundararaman will conclude her visit and return to the mainland on September 25, 2023.
The State-level General Body Meeting is poised to be an important platform for discussions, collaborations, and strategies aimed at advancing the status and well-being of women in the region.
