PS Aberdeen Staff Cracks Burglary Case Within Few Hours

A burglary case was reported at PS Aberdeen on the intervening night of 06-07 August 2022. Two unknown persons had entered the godown of APT Logistics Pvt. Ltd. located at Sisty Nagar by breaking the lock and stole various valuable items like mobile phones, watches, etc. worth Rs. 2,80,000/- (approx.). 

The unknown offenders had covered their faces with masks to hide their identity. Upon this, an FIR vide No. 122/2022 dated 08/08/2022 was registered at P.S. Aberdeen and the investigation was entrusted to SI M.J Indrajit. 

Immediately, a team was constituted comprising of SI M.J Indrajit (IO), HC Sunil Singh Yadav, PC S.N Rao, PC Sandeep Lakra, PC Sonu Yadav and PC D. Shiv Kumar under the supervision of Insp. K. Joju, SHO PS Aberdeen for the search of the unknown accused persons and the stolen properties. 

The team swung into action at once and worked professionally. The team analysed the CCTV footage and based on local enquiry, nabbed two accused persons 

All the stolen properties have been recovered from the possession of the accused persons.  

The entire investigation took place under the overall supervision of Mr. Vinay Mathur, DANIPS, Sub Divisional Police Officer, South Andaman.
