In a proactive effort to educate and empower the youth, Police Station Billiground has conducted a series of awareness programs focusing on cyber crime, road safety, and drug abuse across local schools.
The programs, held at Government Middle Schools in Billiground, Shantipur, Shivapuram, and Padnabhapuram, engaged both students and faculty members. Officers from PS Billiground provided detailed insights and practical tips to help participants stay safe online, practice safe driving habits, and understand the health risks and legal implications associated with drug use.
The initiative aimed to provide crucial information on safeguarding against cyber crimes, adhering to road safety rules, and recognizing and avoiding the dangers of drug abuse. The sessions were well-received, with active participation and positive feedback from both students and teachers.
This effort is part of the North & Middle Andaman District Police’s ongoing commitment to promoting safety and well-being within the community.
